Terms of Service
**Effective date: November 4, 2026**
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of [tellicomarineservices.com](https://www.tellicomarineservices.com/) (the "Site") and requests you submit through it. The Site identifies its operator as **Tellico Marine Service** ("Tellico Marine," "we," or "us"). These Terms do not replace a written estimate, work order, service authorization, warranty, or other agreement that you and Tellico Marine accept for a particular job. If those job-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the job-specific terms control for that service.
Using the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes to learn about our mobile marine services and contact us. You agree not to interfere with the Site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, misuse its forms, or submit information that is false, unlawful, or belongs to someone else without permission.
The Site is intended for adults who can enter into a binding agreement. If you use it for a business or another person, you confirm you are authorized to act for them.
Service inquiries and scheduling
A request for service, quote, or appointment through the Site is an inquiry only. Submitting a form, calling, or emailing does not by itself create a service contract, reserve a time, or guarantee that we can perform the requested work. We will confirm availability and the proposed scope separately.
Service availability depends on location, access, weather, equipment, parts, the condition of the boat or trailer, and other circumstances. Service areas and the makes, models, and systems described on the Site are general descriptions and do not guarantee that a particular job can be completed at a particular location.
Please provide accurate contact details and information about the boat, engine, trailer, symptoms, and service location. Do not send payment card details or sensitive personal information through a general website form or email.
Estimates and repair authorization
Before work begins, the parties should confirm the authorized work, diagnostic or travel charges, rates or price, parts, payment terms, and any applicable deposit in a written estimate or other service authorization. An estimate may change if inspection reveals additional issues or the requested scope changes. We will seek your approval before performing work outside the scope or price authorization, except where a separate written authorization permits otherwise or immediate action is reasonably needed to prevent imminent damage and applicable law allows it.
You may decline recommended additional work. You remain responsible for charges for work, diagnostics, travel, parts, storage, or other items that you approved, as stated in the service authorization. Cancellation, rescheduling, deposits, and return or special-order part charges are governed by the terms disclosed for the particular appointment or order and applicable law.
Boat, trailer, and site access
You must own the boat or trailer, or have authority from its owner to request and approve service. You are responsible for providing safe, timely access to the boat, trailer, dock, marina, storage facility, or other service location, including any required permissions, gate codes, marina approvals, parking, launch, or access fees. Tell us about known hazards, security restrictions, and relevant mechanical or safety issues before the visit.
Please remove valuables and personal items and secure pets and bystanders away from the work area. You remain responsible for your vessel and property except to the extent loss is caused by our negligence or other conduct for which we are responsible under applicable law. We may stop or decline work if conditions are unsafe or access is not available; any resulting charges will be handled under the applicable service authorization and law.
Diagnostics, repairs, and operation
Diagnostics are based on the symptoms, access, tools, and conditions available at the time. A diagnosis may not reveal every fault, and a repair to one component may not resolve a separate or intermittent problem. We will explain material findings and recommended next steps as reasonably practicable.
Boats and trailers involve inherent operational risks. Follow the operator's manuals and safety instructions, and do not operate a vessel or trailer that you know or reasonably suspect is unsafe. A dockside inspection or repair is not a substitute for a full survey, sea trial, or inspection by a qualified professional where one is needed. Unless the written service authorization states otherwise, work does not include a water test, haul-out, or inspection of systems outside the agreed scope.
Payment and parts
The service authorization will state applicable charges and when payment is due. You agree to pay authorized charges and applicable taxes. Parts availability and delivery times can change; estimated completion dates are not guarantees unless expressly agreed in writing. Title to parts and any rights relating to unpaid charges are governed by the service authorization and applicable law.
Warranties
Any warranty for labor or parts will be stated in writing in the applicable service authorization or supplied by the part manufacturer. No warranty is created solely by descriptions or general statements on the Site. This section does not limit any warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
Site information and availability
We try to keep the Site accurate and available, but service descriptions, coverage, images, testimonials, and other content are general information and may change. The Site is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every displayed detail is current. Contact us to confirm current services and availability.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and design, are owned by Tellico Marine or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, noncommercial use. You may not republish, commercially exploit, or modify Site content without prior written permission, except where applicable law permits.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services. Those links are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse third-party content, and their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tellico Marine will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. This limitation does not exclude or restrict liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or restricted, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence where such limitation is prohibited. Liability relating to a particular repair or service is governed by the applicable service authorization and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms waives a consumer protection right or remedy that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Privacy
Your use of the Site may involve collection of information you provide or information collected through website technologies. Please review the Site's Privacy Policy, if available, for details about collection and use. These Terms do not replace a privacy notice or consent required by law. If no Privacy Policy is available on the Site, contact us with questions before submitting personal information.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site and changing the effective date above. The revised Terms apply to Site use after posting. Changes do not modify a service authorization already accepted unless you and we agree to the change or applicable law provides otherwise.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law applies or consumer rights require otherwise. Any dispute concerning these Terms or Site use will be brought in a court with jurisdiction, subject to applicable law. Nothing here prevents either party from pursuing a claim in a court or forum where applicable law permits it.
Severability and entire agreement
If a court finds a provision of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. These Terms govern Site use and, together with any applicable privacy notice, are the complete agreement concerning Site use. They do not replace job-specific service terms.
